multiple cameras, inside and out, to race cars (or road cars) at
race-tracks.

countless hours of on-track footage to digital tape or disk.

other incidental footage e.g. trackside interviews, build the story

it all back in the studio (8 hours of raw video footage might, for
example, make 30 minutes of interesting video, or 2 minutes of really thrilling
stuff)

(royalty-free) music, titles, effects, branding, menus, whatever. Now
it’s starting to look really professional

a club video or DVD for general exhibition
- Create
individualised DVD videos, personalised for each competitor

VHS tape output
VHS is just about dead now and we hardly get asked for it any more.
The master footage is edited digitally, and only dubbed down to VHS for
the final cut. And we use only new stock, high quality videotapes. Normally
VHS, but "staying digital" with Video8 or Mini-DV gives better
results.

DVD and CD formats - DVD, PC and MAC
We can produce for a range of compact disk based formats.
DVD
The bulk of our
work these days, and our preferred format. Menus, backgrounds,
scripting, and of course the lovely, high resolution image
that we take for granted these days. We can prepare in
either SD 4:3 format, or the increasingly popular widescreen
SD 16:9 format. We do not do HD yet.
S-VCD
Better than VCD,
this is the a practical option for machines that are not DVD-capable.
Virtually obsolete.
RM
Real Media (tm)
files - for compact file sizes, low resolution video footage for download
or streaming from the internet.
AVI
Audio Visual - high
resolution, where the very large file size is not a critical
issue. Best suited to short videos intended to be viewed on
PCs.
MOV
Quicktime (tm)
Movies - good compromise between size and resolution - especially suitable
for Macintosh
MPEG
MPEG files - another
defacto PC standard, good resolution possible, moderate file
sizes
